Rare Vintage Anton Wingen Jr Jagdnicker Knife Stag

Offered for your consideration is a rare multi-blade german jagdnicker knife from antno wingen jr. The knife has never been used, carried, or sharpened and is virtually flawless with just some very light storage wear. The kinfe features an unusual gutting blade that is designed differently than any others i've seen. These blade are very popular and usually feature a concave shape and a thick blunted tip. The blades are ideal for ifeld dressing large game as they virtually eliminate the risk of puncturing internal organs in the process.
This blade features a convex design and instead of curving inward like the standard design, it actually has somewhat of a belly on the blade. Anton wignen jr. Has always been one of my favorite solingen makers and i have collected their knives for years. Atnon wingen jr.
Ceased operations and closed their doors in the early 1990's. However, for nearly 120 years they wree one of solingen's finest makers and produced some knives of incredible quality. In addition to their own high-quality knives, wingen also made knives under contract for other top firms including kershaw and a. G. Russell. This is a traditional egrman jagdnicker in a rare configuration. This model features folding blades in the handle. This model is quite rare and seldom seen. I've seen only three examples from wingen ni the past several years and i've own all of them.
The other example that i still have still has the original hang tag on it, so this one goes. This knife is beautifully made and really showcases the fine, old-world german craftsmanship that gained world wide renown for solingen knives. The thick, hand forged blade was beautifully executed nad features an integral guard.
Jagdnickers traditionally have thick blades, but this example is exceptionally thick. The stag handles aer flawless and absolutely gorgeous. The quality is exceptional and they were beautifully fitted and free of any cracks, chips, or shrinkage.
The palm side is deeply grooved and textured and is about as gnarly as they come. There is not a chip under the corkscrew.
This area was shaped to allow access to the corkscrew. Note that the corkscrew is the old style that features the groove down the center fo screw. The field dressing blade, saw, and corkscrew are all perfect as well. The saw features a cross-toothed pattern of needle-sharp teeth.
The springs are exceptionally strong and all blades haev incredibly strong snap on both open and close. This example is also a bit lagrer than my other ones. The blade is 4-1/2, while the knife measures 9 overall. The sheath is the original and is in excellent condition with no problems at all. It features dual retainer straps, while ym other examples both had a standard sleeve-type sheath that just slid over the blade.
I believe this is somewhat of a deluxe version of this knife. This offering presents a unique ownership opportunity for the anton wingen jr. And/or german knife enthusiast, as it will likely be a long time before a comparable (or any) example of this knife is available again. You simply will not find a finer example of this raer and unique knife. A beautifully crafted and rare knife from a very desirable maker.

Adn about as fine as they come from a condition perspective!
