Early Rare Custom Rh Ruana S Stamp Drop Point KnifeYou are bidding on this quite rare non-catalog old r. H. Ruana hunting knife and original sheath. This is a 1950's era rudy ruana large drop point with the small s stamp.
The s stamp stands for salt water hardend, which was only used 2 years, (1956 to 1958). This one of the rarest stamps to find on a ruana knife and even more rare is to find it on a custom drop point. The drops were not a popular choice in the early days, so to get a drop point you had to request it to made. This knife measures 9 3/4 inches long wiht a 4 3/4 inch blade. The only down fall i can find about this knife is that one of the copper pins has been replaced on the sheath as shown. If you are a serious ruana collector i would seriously look at this one, it may be the only one that may be out there like it. Check out the pictures. I can post more pics. Upon request. As for payment i would prefere certified bank check with bank letter or personal checks with a bank letter you will save money this way.
