If you haev any questions feel free to email us or call 210-325-4490.You are looking at a 1960's vintage, handmade/custom bowie knife. This is a fantsatic old bowie. Very high quality and professionally made. The photos will not do the engravings justice, one side is the scene where travis is drawing the line in the sand and across from him stands davy crockett with two othre defenders, underneath it is engraved who will cross this line and fight with me to the end. The other side is an engraving of bowie layning in bed with pistol and knife preparing to kill two mexican soldiers, underneath it reads james bowei 1796 -1836. The engarving is expertly done in a folk art style. The knife is unbelievably not marked but could have been made yb several of the early custom makers. A relaly great, one of a kind piece.
Blade 3/16 thick, 7 5/8 long, very sharp handle old yellow westinghouse micarta with blue and white multi-spacers fittings brass guard, brass butt overall length 11 7/8 condition very-fine/used, shows general use but no abuse, knife is solid and tight, blade has some carbon spotting, the guard has some dings grading scale poor, good, very-good, fine, very-fine, excellent, mint (i rarely grade anything as mint) we would like payment to be made via paypal, money order or check within 10 days (10 day hold on personal checks). Shipping is $5.95 via usps priority mail. Insurance is $1.70 for $50, $2.70 for $100 and $1.00 for each $100 after. Foreign bidders must contact us for a shipping quote as ti will be more expensive.
